Description
We commissioned Stockport artist Vivian Lally Art to tell the story of Eric Haydock of The Hollies. Born Eric John Haddock in Portwood, he was a founder member of The Hollies, famous for playing a Fender six-string bass. In the 1990’s, Eric managed the ‘Rhythm House Music Centre’ at 22 Middle Hillgate. In 2010, The Hollies were inducted into the ‘Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’. The Eric Haydock story is depicted on a Stockport Music Story Commemorative Plaque on The Red Bull, Middle Hillgate, one of Eric’s favourite watering holes. This commemorative print is a limited edition available in A4 and A3 sizes.
